AI has reached a tipping point in our collective awareness as professionals and human beings. It's all I seem to be reading and talking about. A study fielded by Ipsos in the halcyon days of Jan. 2022 showed that 60% of consumers expect that AI will “profoundly change their daily life” in the next 3-5 years. With the launch of ChatGPT in Nov. 2022, it seems things will never be the same.
The watch on the right is the iconic Omega Speedmaster. One of the most famous and recognizable mechanical watches of all time, the Speedmaster was the first watch worn on the moon. The base model Speedmaster retails for $6,000. The watch on the left is the battery-powered quartz Moonswatch, a collab between Omega and Swatch, two of the 17 brands within parent company Swatch Group. Yes, that Swatch, the ubiquitous 1980s plastic fashion watch. Moonswatch launched in March 2022 and retails for $260.
